2018 Toyota Highlander engine lineup will carry over from 2017 model. First option is 3.5-liter V6 engine generating 295 horsepower and 263 lb-ft of torque. Next in the lineup is 2.7-liter 4-cylinder unit producing 185 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque.
Toyota V6 engine will be equipped with 8-speed automatic transmission, while 4-cylinder version will get 6-speec automatic gearbox. 2018 Highlander hybrid comes with V6 engine in combination with battery power. Hybrid model is capable of developing 306 horsepower. It comes equipped with all-wheel drive system and CVT gearbox.
